What is Networking – Early Experiences
In 2011, I remember as if it were today, I was at a lecture in the Starter Incubator. A morning lecture with a special guest to stimulate creativity and for inspiration. I essentially went for networking, to expand my contacts in the compensation field, which I was involved in at the time. The first person talked about their business, I don’t remember exactly what kind. The second person was the special guest. An investor with many years of experience. At that time, I didn’t know that in some time we would become colleagues, having the opportunity to meet a few times at different moments in life and exchange experiences.
Meeting an Inspiring Investor
He talked about how he made a significant investment in an energy company and after a few years, he and his partners achieved a substantial return from this investment. Just as the initial investment amount was a large sum for me at that time, the return was a figure that qualified for the Forbes list of the richest Poles.
Wolves Summit and the Investment Fund Theme
It’s one of those moments of inspiration that stays with us and grows. It germinates and one day comes together as a whole, as to what that inspiration was for. In 2016, analyzing the market and leading the Wolves Summit, the theme of an investment fund emerged again, which was established at the Pioneers conference. Relationships and trust are key in cooperating with investors. Pioneers wonderfully combined the deal flow of tech projects from the conference with investing.

What is networking – inspiration source. At Wolves Summit, I had the opportunity to build relationships with investors for years. We showcased the Polish market as attractive also for foreign investors. Over time, I had the chance to personally raise funds for many interesting technological projects and beyond. The day comes when inspiration turns into action. I will soon share details of where this inspiration has led. It’s actually just the beginning of this new journey… What was the moment in your life when someone inspired you and it stayed with you for a long time?
