Emotions, peace, work, success. Is peace important in work or when running a business? I believe it is, very much so. Often, in stressful situations or when thoughtful and calm action is needed, I hear comments like this afterward: “Peter, how do you manage to stay so calm? ToggleThe Brink of Explosion
Long, long ago. Or rather, not so long ago. And not in a distant galaxy, but close by, in Poland and in Gdynia, where I was born, I operated very close to the brink of explosion. As they say, I had a very short fuse and the potential to explode. I didn’t always explode, but simple situations could get me worked up. Even trivial things like someone cutting me off in traffic would immediately raise my blood pressure. I didn’t consider that maybe it wasn’t intentional, and perhaps that person wasn’t from here and made a mistake. I paid a lot of attention to this.
The Impact of Negative Emotions
Anger and other negative emotions, or what you might call suffering emotions. Suffering because you and others who are the target of that anger suffer, but primarily you, because it’s very consuming. It remains, vibrates, or lurks in the body and accumulates there.
Methods for Emotional Release
There are various methods for releasing emotions. One of them is described in Nelson Bradley’s book: “The Emotion Code,” but when looking for natural ways to work with emotions, you can find many approaches. Working in a trance state helped me, finding the root cause. Anger was a symptom of a helpless child. Helplessness in a difficult situation, which was the development of parents. Over time, that helplessness turned into anger. Once I worked on the root cause, it was easy to overcome its effects.
Mastering the Mind
Just as finding the cause of a physical ailment in the body is, it’s the same with our minds. I’m not perfect; there are many situations that unsettle me. To be more precise, it’s not the situation but my reaction to it. When I’m emotionally invested in a matter and have expectations. If you don’t care, you probably won’t be bothered.
