Money is like air. It’s everywhere. It has accompanied humans for thousands of years, changing and evolving in many ways, and now, it is a tool of power and control on an unprecedented scale. Unfortunately, the path of the money we know is a path to darkness. But there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s Bitcoin.
The content I create revolves around Bitcoin and blockchain tech because it’s a digital freedom manifesto in the form of one of the most interesting and complex problems humanity has ever faced: money. The technological transformation we’ve witnessed in recent years has changed, and will certainly drastically overturn, the world as we know it. AI is an example of another change awaiting us. However, the galloping technological revolution, along with the improvement in the quality of our lives, eventually begins to limit us when technology becomes a tool in the hands of the broadly defined power.
Bitcoin: The Anti-System Challenger in Blockchain Tech
A few years ago, Bitcoin appeared, born as an organism in this stream of technological progress, designed in a way that prevents the takeover of control. It’s an unprecedented and unique creation. Additionally, it emerged as independent money, essentially going to war with the entire system. For several years now, Bitcoin and the blockchain industry have been trying to develop this anti-system concept. Really anti? It’s going better or worse, but the idea of blockchain is to create a solution resistant to centralization, and that’s a stance against the system. Therefore, it is a unique space, maybe not as tangible as AI, but practically the only one pursuing such an ambitious and difficult mission, going beyond technology, trying to reach the darkest corners of human nature and interaction.
The Power Dynamics of Emerging Technologies
This might sound lofty, and to some, even ridiculous. However, I think many people see the flaws and benefits of the galloping progress and changes in the world around us. Digitization is advancing, and technology is a double-edged sword. It gives and takes. New possibilities and less freedom. We live in extraordinary times. Never before has so much power been in the hands of so few. Bitcoin and blockchain are the hope. I strongly encourage education in Bitcoin and blockchain tech. It’s a fascinating topic. The only industry where practically every problem remains without a clear answer. Oh, and one more thing. In my opinion, one should not expect Bill Gates to approve of technology that destabilizes power. This gentleman has power and does not want to lose it. Similarly, one should not expect Elon Musk to approve of technology that transforms energy into digital gold when Elon’s goal is to use energy to power electric cars.
